Het gebruik van koelsmeermiddelen met EP-additieven helpt om deze uitdagingen met gemak het hoofd te bieden.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Werkzaam onder hoge druk<\/h3>\n<p>Achter EP-additieven schuilen werkzame stoffen die zich hebben gevestigd als belangrijke componenten van verschillende hoogwaardige koelsmeermiddelen. Ze verbeteren de tribologische eigenschappen van deze producten doordat ze enerzijds het lastopnemend vermogen verhogen en anderzijds de gereedschapsslijtage verminderen. Het gebruik bij enorme drukbelasting zit al in de naam: EP staat voor \u201eextreme pressure\u201c en maakt EP-geadditieveerde smeermiddelen juist relevant voor bewerkingen waarbij hoge drukken vaak voorkomen.<\/p>\n<h3>Geen aanhechting van werkstuk en gereedschap<\/h3>\n<p>Het gebruik van EP-additieven zorgt ervoor dat de op elkaar bewegende metalen oppervlakken van het te bewerken werkstuk en het gereedschap zo min mogelijk beschadigd raken, zelfs bij extreme belastingen. Tegelijkertijd wordt een vastsmelten van de wrijvingscontactpunten van beide oppervlakken actief voorkomen. Typische EP-additieven zijn zwavel-, fosfor-, zink-, stikstof- en andere verbindingen.<\/p>\n<h3>Verschillende theorie\u00ebn over hoe het werkt<\/h3>\n<p>Er bestaan verschillende theorie\u00ebn over hoe EP-additieven werken, zoals de microscheurtheorie, de reactieve laagtheorie of de adsorptielaagtheorie.
