Les \u00e9mulsifiants sont essentiels pour cette t\u00e2che, car en abaissant la tension interfaciale entre la phase huileuse et la phase aqueuse, ils permettent la dispersion des gouttelettes d'huile dans l'eau. L'\u00e9mulsifiant est donc un lien essentiel dans l'\u00e9mulsion pour un fluide de coupe fonctionnant correctement.<\/p>\n<p>Afin de prot\u00e9ger le syst\u00e8me \u00e9mulsifiant sur la plus longue dur\u00e9e de s\u00e9jour possible, divers additifs sont ajout\u00e9s au fluide de coupe soluble dans l'eau.
